Mission Nannys News and Prayer Requests From the Field
“And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.” Colossians 1:10-12
News From Those in the Field – 2019
I’ve settled in nicely with the Parker family, and can hardly believe it’s already been a whole month! Being here in Israel has been incredible, and I’ve met so many amazing people from all over the world! It has been great to be able to bless the Parker family, and things are going smoothly.
Unfortunately, I have to cover my own food cost, because of the lack of support the family is receiving from their supporters, so please pray that the family would be able to raise more support and that God would continue to provide for me. Also please pray that God would use me and grow me.
Hello from sunny Florida! It is so wonderful to finally be feeling at home in this new place after being here for over a month. I have had many rough days along the way, and I’m sure that I will have more challenging times, but I am learning that God is so much greater than these temporary struggles. I have had some packed days recently, sometimes being with kids aged 6 and under for about 12 hours a day. However, God has also blessed me with some times of peace and quiet when I can rest in him and recharge. I would certainly appreciate continued prayer for myself and the Ellises as we are both in a time of transition. However, I am thankful for the growth that I have already seen in myself through this experience. Most of all, I hope that I can be a blessing to this wonderful family while growing in my faith. Thank you so much for your prayers!
Lauren is preparing for her mission to France in January. Please pray that all loose ends will be tied up soon and that she procures all of the finances that she will need for her trip.
In addition to those listed above, Mission Nannys has two other young women deciding on families to serve. Please pray for guidance for them as they prepare to decide which families to serve.
FEATURED FAMILY: THE TABB FAMILY SERVING IN IRELAND
Hello from Dublin, Ireland. We are Daniel and Amy and over 17 years ago moved to Dublin to work in a disadvantaged community called Ballymun. The government has been regenerating this area the past 20 years through social programs and building houses, etc. We are working alongside them by regenerating hearts towards Jesus! ‘Coach Dan’ can be seen running sports camps 3 times a year, prayer walking, discipling men, at community meetings with other leaders working on projects, fundraising, writing grants, working with addicts and homeless and honestly so much more. He has poured his life out for this community! Click here to learn more about the family.

A WORD FROM MISS BETTY, founder emeritus of MissionNannys.
Praise God for Mission Nannys: So many women have been changed by serving a family someplace in the world who are following Christ and overloaded with paperwork and things to do. We have even had 1 man serve recently in Bolivia.
If you know of someone who would like to serve for 3 months or more, please send an e-mail to Valerie Dunn at email@example.com
Be sure to check out the website: MissionNannys.org and read of all the missionaries who are in need of help. Perhaps you would consider a 3-month activity away from your home and learn about a foreign country. We have many families asking for help listed on the website and you would be such a great blessing to them.
As Mission Nannys return from service, they state that the activity gave them a new lease on life and first hand they witnessed an active missionary family.
Thanks for your prayers for more to serve.
PLEASE PRAY FOR THE EYE OF THE NEEDLE FOUNDATION AND FOR DAVID MALME AND VALERIE DUNN. David maintains the website for Mission Nannys and Valerie helps place nannys with families. If you would like to serve as a Mission Nanny, please complete the Mission Nannys application online at missionnannys.org. The website currently has 41 missionary families needing help. We need more volunteers to help all of these families. If you know of someone who would be interested, please let them know about our organization. Please pray for more volunteers to come forward.
