My Father’s Arrows is a ministry to orphans focused on the foster children of northwest FL and southeast AL. We serve the children aged 0-17 yrs old who are hardest to get homes for including: large sibling groups, minorities, children with disabilities, and older children.

Our family includes: Jason and Sarah Ellis (married 20 yrs). We are the bio and foster-adoptive parents to: Teagan 2004, Saida 2006, John-Isaac 2007, Isaiah 2008, Josiah 2009, Mattias 2009, Clayton 2010, Elias 2011, Priya 2013, Gracia 2013, Luke 2015, Is that 11 children? Yes, it is. In addition to caring for our 11 children, 5 of which are still in foster care, we started a ministry to orphans 3 years ago, and we are currently developing a children’s home for foster children.

Primary duty: Foster family support

Other duties or comments: Our missionary nannies work in certain focus areas and rotate as needed to best fit everyone’s strengths. Although any of the above duties are possible, a nanny would not work in all of those areas at the same time. Rather, she would be evaluated for her strengths and interests, and placed where she would best serve.

Desired start date: ASAP

Hours/day: 7a-5p with 2 scheduled hours of rest during the work day

Days/week: 6

Other expenses: Travel to the mission only.

MN’s room, bath: We have a large suite for the nannies to stay that has a keypad locked door for privacy. Bathroom is shared with the other nannies.

Anything else? This mission trip is a great first trip for a young lady who feels called to missions. We are so thankful for the support that the nannies can give to foster families so that we can accomplish our goal of showing these children the love of Jesus while we bring them to healing and restore their trust in grown-ups and joyful hearts.
