The Family and their Ministry – ID 50
This family includes four children: Trinity 2002, Josef 2010, Hosanna 2012, Judah 2014. Mom is from the U.S, Dad is Honduran. They work in orphanages, and work to find the best placement for kids in social risk, including family re-integration, adoption, foster care, and children’s home with best practices. With the help of short term mission teams, they work to improve child care facilities.
Their challenge: In 2014, Honduran children and family services underwent an enormous change. The Institution that had been operating for 20 years was dissolved. A new government entity was created with the plan of utilizing the help that non-profit organizations provide. With this change Identity Mission was born to take advantage of the opportunity to serve the Honduran orphaned children, reminding them about their Identity: they are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Other: Nanny will be expected to keep toys put away, assist with laundry and other daily chores, help with school work, and needs to be comfortable being alone with children (we wouldn’t leave all four for any long period of time, but she would be with two of them sometimes for an entire day during when short term mission teams are present).
At this time, we really need a nanny beginning mid-may-mid-August. If anyone is looking to serve over the summer it would be awesome. They will have opportunity to experience running mission teams as well as assist with our three littles while school is out of session.
