FIJI ISLANDS

The Family and their Ministry               34

“We are a family of five (3 daughters) and have been doing missionary work in Fiji since 2002. We are serving with the Pioneers Mission doing community development among the poor. We operate a farm program called Oasis Farm. We also host short-term church and university outreaches, as well as run a semester study-abroad program called Island Encounters.

Our three girls were born in 2003, 2005, and 2009.

Home-school nanny (supervisor) needed (for Fall 2019 and all of 2020) for our 5th, 9th and 11th grade girls. They are doing online school here in Fiji. Through the school they have teachers that grade their work and guide them through the program, we just need someone who can be there to supervise them, answer questions, and stay with the kids when we are gone. We’d love to find someone who is a good fit with our family and ministry—who really cares about kids and can help enrich their days. We don’t mind someone young, as long as they are able to help at a high school level. A great fit for us is a “big sister” type person who cares about building relationships with our kids and family, and helps to make their days fun.

Come as a student intern or as a staff intern to help us run our program. We cater to 18-24 yr. olds who are looking for hands-on missions training, community service and discipleship.  Island Encounters Fiji is currently accepting applications for a six week summer outreach program from June 3 to July 15, open to 18-24 yr. olds.
